2010 Sight & Sole Walk The 23rd annual Sight & Sole walk is being held one again at Universal Studios on February 20, 2010. Come out and join us as we raise funds to help blind and sight impaired children, adults and seniors develop the skills they need to live independent and productive lives.
The UCF Cornerstone program has chosen Lighthouse Central Florida as benefactor for a "Dining in the Dark" event.
We are very excited to announce that the "Dining in the Dark" event will be on Wednesday, November 4th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lighthouse. The dinner costs $25 per person for a three course meal, including wine. Seats are limited, so reserve your seat now!

Lighthouse submitted a proposal to the UCF Cornerstone program for a “Dining in the Dark” event. We were excited to hear that our proposal was chosen, so we have been busy meeting with the students from UCF to get the event together. There are eight students working on the event who must raise at least $1,000 to go to charity, which includes “Dining in the Dark” for Lighthouse. Since this is a class project, the students will do all the preparations for the event with our guidance and will be writing a paper to hand in for their final grade. So come out to support local students and a local charity!
